The backstory of the game begins with Billy's nephew telling Uncle Scrooge McDuck that he found a piece of an ancient map in the attic, the inscription on which reads "McDuck's Ancient Treasure." Having studied everything connected with this scrap, Scrooge learns about the legend according to which his great-great-great-grandfather hid a treasure, and divided the map by which this treasure can be found into several pieces. Pieces of the map were hidden in different parts of the world. Scrooge decides to find all the parts of the map, but his nephews inform him that Flintheart Glomgold is also hunting for this map. Our hero needs to visit five places around the world to find all the parts of the map. But after Scrooge finds all the parts of the mysterious treasure map and, it would seem, all that remains is to find the place where the treasures are hidden, Scrooge learns unpleasant news. His only beloved niece, Ponochka, was kidnapped by Glomgold and kept on his ship. As a ransom, Glomgold demands that Scrooge give him all the treasures he found. Scrooge, without a moment's hesitation, brings them, but Glomgold orders D-1000 to attack him. Scrooge wins the fight, but Glomgold's damaged ship sinks. How to reach the premium stage of DUCKTALES
To get through the swamps and get to the Rocket Launcher, jump up from the small island behind where the swamp creatures first appear and go right through the secret passage. To reach the hidden Premium stage in DuckTales, wait until your money reaches 70,000 and then find the Rocket Launcher. It will take you to a premium area in the clouds where you can purchase additional diamonds.
Loop of Lives
Use this trick to earn a couple of extra lives (1-Up) in the African Mine. Enter the Mine, go down the chain and jump down next to the coal chest. To your left is an imaginary wall with a Scrooge Doll representing life. When you take it, go down the chain to the left until you land on a coal chest. If you jump up and to the left, you can jump over three invisible treasure chests and go through a secret passage leading to a hidden Scrooge Doll. Once you have these two lives, you can take them again if you find the rocket launcher, fly back to Duckburg, and then return to the Mine and repeat the procedure outlined.
Another loop of lives
This cycle will allow you to increase your life reserve to a maximum of nine. Go to the African Mines without the key and you will be transported to Transylvania. Grab the very easily accessible 1-Up in Transylvania (in the treasure chest hanging above Mommy's head in the first top corner of the mansion).
