Something in his posture and gestures speaks of this. Pointed patent leather shoes, all his clothes allow us to tell us that this young man is rather a “nerd”, in today’s language, he clearly does not devote his precious time to strength sports. It is very important for him to find out the opinion of his interlocutor about the issue raised and he gestures for better persuasiveness. This can be understood by paying attention, among other things, to the position of his body: the movement of his hands, a slight tilt of his head, his right leg set to the side, etc. He clearly looks confident in his indisputable rightness, feels and anticipates his imminent victory over his opponent. The girl, on the contrary, behaves very restrained and looks more constrained and tense. The index finger is pressed to the chin, the straight back, the position of the head - everything suggests that her arguments have already been exhausted and she is hastily trying to come up with what words to defend her position and get out of an awkward situation. However, judging by the posture and gaze directed towards the interlocutor, the essence of the dialogue is far from indifferent to her, just like the arguments given by the opponent sitting opposite.

The author managed to depict what was happening so accurately that everyone who sees the picture will be able to understand the essence of what is happening without words. Gestures, clothing, postures - everything suggests that these are intelligent young people, perhaps talking about the upcoming session or the latest news. Their dialogue does not go beyond what is permitted and does not turn into abuse, although the note of tension inherent in any dispute is noticeable.
